Dreams and Goals

Do you have dreams and goals you’re reaching for? How do you feel about your life? Are you happy, or do you have an “I hate my life” attitude?

Everyone faces problems in their life. We all have disappointments, shattered dreams, people who don’t like us, and people who even come against us. And the devil wants to use these things to discourage us and keep us from moving forward with our lives and the plans God has for us. He’s a dream thief, and if he can get you to focus on what’s wrong or what you don’t like about your life, he can defeat you...

When the devil lies and says you can’t, remember that God’s Word says you can do all things that God wants you to do through Christ who strengthens you (see Philippians 4:13). When he says it’s impossible for you to do what God has put in your heart, remember that all things are possible with God (see Matthew 19:26 and Luke 18:27).

Make up your mind to shake off the lies that hold you back and have a good attitude. If you will, the devil can’t defeat you. Remember: Nothing is too hard for God!...

Journey

I am sooo thankful to the Lord for answering all my prayers. HE has been faithful in showing us that everything is possible with HIM. My hearts are filled with joy and comfort knowing that our GOD is a GOD who will always be there for us. HE has made everything beautiful in HIS perfect time....

1 Thessalonians 5:18--  In everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus...

Pray for the Philippines

August 7, 2012----A traumatic day for the Philippines as water continues to pour down on most of Luzon, causing extreme floods, landslides and casualties. Still fresh from the wounds of Ondoy, (September 2009), yet we are in a state of calamity once again. I can not express how fortunate and thankful I feel to be safe in my home.  As much as I would like to go out and help our fellow brothers and sisters deeply affected by the rain and floods, I won't be able to do so because  almost all roads are not passable...
Hopefully we can find it in ourselves to help in any way we can, be it through offering clothes, food, medication or volunteering on the front lines.

Faith and Fear

Yes, I am a strong believer that my faith must always trump my fears.
However that doesn’t mean I walk around with a big F on my chest all the time. It does not mean that I don’t get scared and wonder how I am going to make it through certain situations. It doesn’t mean that I don’t sometimes allow the stresses of life to weigh me down.It doesn’t mean that I am immune to heartbreaks, sickness, or attacks of the enemy. It doesn’t mean that sometimes I don’t exercise bad judgment or make horrible decisions.
Yes, sometimes I worry, sometimes I get angry, sometimes I even cry about the things I see in the natural. And that’s ok. Those are normal reactions to life’s unpleasant moments and there is no reason to feel ashamed of those moments.
But the key is to not stay and dwell there. The key is to build up your faith arsenal when things are going well, so that you are equipped for the not so good moments. Study those scriptures on faith and commit them to memory so you can speak to your fears when they arise.
The key is to hold close the memories of the times that you activated your faith and God stepped in. And if you are short of experiences, glean from those that have stories to share about their faith.
The key is to still be able to cry out to God in your weakest moments knowing that regardless of what you are facing … He is STILL God. You don’t have to come to Him with it all together … He is there when you are completely broken… even when you can’t even say a prayer because of the intensity of your tears.
There isn’t a magic potion for increasing your faith, it’s a process. However the more you activate your faith instead of going (or staying) in panic mode– the more it will become a way of a life and not a second thought.
And one day you will boldly be able to declare that your faith ALWAYS trumps your fears....

To Be Strong to the Finish

Hebrews 12:11 says, “No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it's painful! But afterward there will
be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way”

There is nothing more wonderful or comfortable than having grown in God to a place where we are at peace with Him in every area of our life. Learning to live with discipline and self-control brings a harvest of peace that far exceeds the short-term thrill of living without boundaries or accountability.
By the same token, there is nothing worse than waking up with a guilty conscience, knowing there’s something unsettled between us and God. The only way to settle things with Him is by learning to say “no” to the things that poison our life, and sticking with people and situations that contribute to our spiritual well-being. Understand that God has put those people and situations in our life to polish us and mold us into the image of Christ.
To grow strong in the Lord, we need a balanced diet that includes not just comfort and encouragement, but also clear instruction on what we must do to grow in our faith.

How to Travel the Smooth Route

Imagine that you're driving down a road. Along the way there are signs that provide direction or give warning. If you pay attention to the signs and follow their instructions, you will safely reach your destination.

In the same way, on the road of life there are spiritual signs along the way. In order to stay under God's protection, you must obey these signs that tell you to trust Him and not worry. Don't be afraid; have courage. If you'll pay attention to these signs, you'll find it's easy to stay on course. You'll experience the protection, peace and joy that only God can provide.

Feelings

"God puts people in our life for a reason and removes then from our life for a better reason."
If someone has hurt you, don't spend the next 10 years of your life hurting yourself by hanging on to that offense. Most likely, that other person isn't even thinking about you, while you dwell on the incident for years. That only hurts one person—is YOU...When you pray for people who have hurt you, it's a choice. But there's healing in that for you. Bless and do not curse them means to speak well and not evil of them when that person is not around. And be good to them in various ways as wisdom allows. Feelings will come and go. We can't escape them, but we can choose to live by God's Word and not our feelings. Even when it doesn't feel right, we can live with an incredible peace and joy....
and the more we closer to God, the more we know what's right and wrong.. I am very thankful I know the Word of God and have Him in my life to help and comfort me...By the grace of God i am what i am now..:)

Blissful life

God wanted us to ENJOY life. He wanted us to experience firsthand love, faith, all the wonderful stuff in everyday's life..
Being single is similar to being in any healthy relationship. Single may not always be a bad thing...Some people remain single to work for God's Kingdom...
Singleness is a blessing rather than a burden.  My singleness is a journey, not some sort of trapped prison.  It's a journey of growing in my trust of the Lord and believing that He has a plan for me -- and whether it be single or married life, it won't matter.  On my journey of singleness, I will move ahead, bold and confident, taking every step in obedience. No more heartaches, no more pain, no more regrets and no more worries...I thank you God for this awesome feeling of peace and happiness...Glory to God!!

God's Gift A Friendship

Friends find the sweetest sense of happiness comes from simply being together...

Real friendship is a rare and precious gifts, strong, stable yet fragile and never to be taken for granted.
God knew what He was doing when he made us.  We are a unique individual—God created us the way we are! It's time that we dare to accept ourselves as different and stop being insecure about who we are...
Thank you Lord for the gift of friendship!

love lots,

You Can Become Bold and Fearless

Bold: to be brave, daring, courageous, intrepid, and valiant.

God is calling us to be bold. If you have the tendency to not take chances in life because you're afraid of making mistakes, God wants you to know He's pleased with you when you try. It doesn't matter if you don't do everything exactly right. What matters is that you step out in faith, believing....God will help US!!..

Kiss Fear Goodbye

Kiss Fear Goodbye and Enjoy Life's Journey:

Everything in life is a process in motion. Without movement, advancement and progression, there is no life. Once a thing has ceased to progress, it is dead. In other words, as long as we live, you and I are always going to be heading somewhere, and we should be enjoying ourselves on the way. God created us to be goal-oriented visionaries. Without a vision, we become bored and hopeless. Hope deferred makes the heart sick....but when the desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life. ...
We should love ourselves—not in a selfish, self-centered way that produces a lifestyle of self-indulgence, but in a balanced, Godly way that affirms God's creation as essentially good and right.
Most of us have a hard time believing that God is working on our behalf until we see something happening with our natural eyes. This usually isn't the way God works. He works behind the scenes much of the time.God is busy working in your life as long as you believe...As you begin to see yourself through God's eyes—someone who's loved and cherished—your view of yourself will begin to change. You'll begin to see yourself not as rejected, but as loved and accepted…unique and beautiful in His sight.
