Do you have dreams and goals you’re reaching for? How do you feel about your life? Are you happy, or do you have an “I hate my life” attitude?
Everyone faces problems in their life. We all have disappointments, shattered dreams, people who don’t like us, and people who even come against us. And the devil wants to use these things to discourage us and keep us from moving forward with our lives and the plans God has for us. He’s a dream thief, and if he can get you to focus on what’s wrong or what you don’t like about your life, he can defeat you...
When the devil lies and says you can’t, remember that God’s Word says you can do all things that God wants you to do through Christ who strengthens you (see Philippians 4:13). When he says it’s impossible for you to do what God has put in your heart, remember that all things are possible with God (see Matthew 19:26 and Luke 18:27).
Make up your mind to shake off the lies that hold you back and have a good attitude. If you will, the devil can’t defeat you. Remember: Nothing is too hard for God!...

Journey
I am sooo thankful to the Lord for answering all my prayers. HE has been faithful in showing us that everything is possible with HIM. My hearts are filled with joy and comfort knowing that our GOD is a GOD who will always be there for us. HE has made everything beautiful in HIS perfect time....
1 Thessalonians 5:18-- In everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus...

Pray for the Philippines
August 7, 2012----A traumatic day for the Philippines as water continues to pour down on most of Luzon, causing extreme floods, landslides and casualties. Still fresh from the wounds of Ondoy, (September 2009), yet we are in a state of calamity once again. I can not express how fortunate and thankful I feel to be safe in my home. As much as I would like to go out and help our fellow brothers and sisters deeply affected by the rain and floods, I won't be able to do so because almost all roads are not passable...
Hopefully we can find it in ourselves to help in any way we can, be it through offering clothes, food, medication or volunteering on the front lines.

Faith and Fear
Yes, I am a strong believer that my faith must always trump my fears.
However that doesn’t mean I walk around with a big F on my chest all the time. It does not mean that I don’t get scared and wonder how I am going to make it through certain situations. It doesn’t mean that I don’t sometimes allow the stresses of life to weigh me down.It doesn’t mean that I am immune to heartbreaks, sickness, or attacks of the enemy. It doesn’t mean that sometimes I don’t exercise bad judgment or make horrible decisions.
Yes, sometimes I worry, sometimes I get angry, sometimes I even cry about the things I see in the natural. And that’s ok. Those are normal reactions to life’s unpleasant moments and there is no reason to feel ashamed of those moments.
But the key is to not stay and dwell there. The key is to build up your faith arsenal when things are going well, so that you are equipped for the not so good moments. Study those scriptures on faith and commit them to memory so you can speak to your fears when they arise.
The key is to hold close the memories of the times that you activated your faith and God stepped in. And if you are short of experiences, glean from those that have stories to share about their faith.
The key is to still be able to cry out to God in your weakest moments knowing that regardless of what you are facing … He is STILL God. You don’t have to come to Him with it all together … He is there when you are completely broken… even when you can’t even say a prayer because of the intensity of your tears.
There isn’t a magic potion for increasing your faith, it’s a process. However the more you activate your faith instead of going (or staying) in panic mode– the more it will become a way of a life and not a second thought.
And one day you will boldly be able to declare that your faith ALWAYS trumps your fears....

To Be Strong to the Finish
Hebrews 12:11 says, “No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it's painful! But afterward there will
be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way”
By the same token, there is nothing worse than waking up with a guilty conscience, knowing there’s something unsettled between us and God. The only way to settle things with Him is by learning to say “no” to the things that poison our life, and sticking with people and situations that contribute to our spiritual well-being. Understand that God has put those people and situations in our life to polish us and mold us into the image of Christ.
To grow strong in the Lord, we need a balanced diet that includes not just comfort and encouragement, but also clear instruction on what we must do to grow in our faith.

How to Travel the Smooth Route
In the same way, on the road of life there are spiritual signs along the way. In order to stay under God's protection, you must obey these signs that tell you to trust Him and not worry. Don't be afraid; have courage. If you'll pay attention to these signs, you'll find it's easy to stay on course. You'll experience the protection, peace and joy that only God can provide.

Turning Point
I thank you God because the plans for my life are great....Your thoughts towards me, many- innumerable like the sands on the shore.
You delight yourself in me, and I in you.
Today Your Presence leads and I follow...
